About the Conference:

India’s labour law framework has been reshaped by the new Labour Codes (2019–2020), notified for implementation from 2025. These reforms consolidate existing labour legislations and address:

  • Social security
  • Occupational safety and working conditions

The conference provides a platform for scholars, policymakers, industry experts, and legal professionals to critically examine these reforms, their implementation challenges, and global perspectives.

Expected attendees: ~150, including faculty, judges, legal professionals, researchers, government officials, industry representatives, trade unions, and students from India and abroad.


Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract: 250–300 words
  • Full Paper: 3,000–5,000 words
  • Citation Style: Indian Law Institute (ILI)
  • Plagiarism Limit: ≤ 15%
  • Selected papers will be published in an ISBN-edited book or Special Edition of MNLU Mumbai Law Journal.
