About the Competition

The Essay Writing Competition is part of Jus Novum, hosted by the Moot Court Society of Apex School of Law in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur. Scheduled in hybrid mode during August–September 2026, the competition encourages scholarly expression on contemporary legal and societal issues.

Participants will engage in research‑driven writing to explore constitutional, socio‑economic, and policy questions, thereby enhancing legal research, structured analysis, and persuasive writing skills.

Eligibility

• School Students: Class 8–12 from recognized boards
• Undergraduate Students: Any 3‑year or 5‑year degree program
• Postgraduate Students: Enrolled in recognized postgraduate courses

Prizes

• Winner: ₹2,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• Runner‑Up: ₹1,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• All Participants: Certificate of Participation

₹200 (excluding accommodation)
