National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition by Adhivakta Parishad, Delhi. Last Date to Register: 30th November 2025.
The Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad, founded in 1992, is a national body of lawyers committed to reviving Bharatiya values and enhancing the standards of the Bar and Judiciary. It engages in legal reform, public interest litigation, and grassroots legal aid through Nyay Kendras, focusing on marginalized communities. The Parishad promotes an India-centric legal system, distinct from colonial legacies, and emphasizes continuous legal education via study circles and its journal Nyayapravah. It actively addresses issues concerning women and children, reserving leadership roles for women and hosting national consultations. Celebrating its Silver Jubilee in 2016, it organized seminars themed around the Constitution as an embodiment of Bharatiya values. With a non-partisan approach, it contributes to law-making and human rights advocacy, aiming to restore public faith in justice.
Adhivakta Parishad, Delhi Prant is proud to host the 4th edition of the National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition in 2025. Law colleges from across India are warmly invited to participate in this prestigious event. The competition aims to foster courtroom advocacy and legal acumen among aspiring lawyers. It provides a dynamic platform for students to engage with complex criminal law issues in a simulated courtroom setting. Institutions are encouraged to register and showcase their talent on a national stage.
(i) Team Composition: Each team shall comprise of maximum three (3) members only, consisting of two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher and minimum two members consisting of two speakers.
(ii) Eligibility: Participation is restricted to bona-fide law students either enrolled in the 3-year LL.B. Law course or the 5-years Integrated Law course. Participation is limited to only one team per college or university.
(iii) Official Language: The official language of the Competition is English. All Competition Rounds including the submissions (memorials) will be in English.
(iv) Dress Code: The dress code for the participants during the Rounds of the competition shall be Black and White formals.
The Competition shall consist of two rounds:
(1) Memorial Selection Round &
(2) Oral Rounds
(i) Preliminary rounds, Pre-Quarter-Final rounds Quarter-Final rounds will be judged by Special panel of Advocates.
(ii) Semi Finals round and Final round will be judged by either Senior Advocates or Hon’ble Judges from High Court & Supreme Court depending upon their availability.

(ii) All participants will be presented with Certificates of Participation and all the winners of awards as specified in Clause 16.1 will be presented with Certificates of Merit and Trophy.
(i) All requests for interpretation of the case study and rules of the competition must be directed to Moot Court Team.
(ii) Such requests for interpretation must be sent via e-mail to mootcourtap@gmail.com and the subject of the e-mail must read “Request for Interpretation”.
(iii) The last date to seek clarifications to the Moot Proposition is 10th January, 2026.
