Examination Pattern (UG CLAT 2027)

  • Mode: Offline (pen & paper)
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Questions: 120 MCQs (passage-based)
  • Marking Scheme: +1 for correct, −0.25 for incorrect

Syllabus Overview

  • English Language: Reading comprehension, vocabulary, inference.

  • Logical Reasoning: Critical reasoning, arguments, conclusions.
  • Quantitative Techniques: Class 10-level maths, data interpretation.

Preparation Strategy

  • Accuracy over Attempts: Target 85–95 questions with high accuracy.
  • Daily Reading Habit: Newspaper editorials, legal journals, RC practice.
  • Current Affairs: Revise weekly; maintain notes for last 12 months.
  • Mock Tests: 2–3 full mocks per week; analyse mistakes deeply.
  • Time Allocation:
    • GK: 15–20 mins
    • Legal Reasoning: 30–35 mins
    • Logical Reasoning: 25–30 mins
    • English: 20–25 mins
    • Quantitative: 10–15 mins

9-Month Plan (Comprehensive Preparation)
