Call for Blogs – CSIPR, NLIU Bhopal

The Cell for Studies in Intellectual Property Rights (CSIPR) at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal invites submissions for its blog on contemporary developments in Intellectual Property and Technology Law. This initiative aims to foster academic dialogue and provide a platform for law students, researchers, academicians, practitioners, and IP enthusiasts to engage with emerging issues in the field.

About NLIU

NLIU Bhopal is among the oldest and most esteemed National Law Universities in India. It has consistently contributed to quality legal education and nurtured a global alumni network excelling in law, public administration, academia, and policy-making.

Themes and Sub-Themes

Submissions are welcome on topics including but not limited to:

  • Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Trade Secrets
  • Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property
  • Technology Law and Policy Developments
  • Emerging issues in IP law and practice

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Limit: Up to 1500 words (excluding endnotes). Flexibility may be allowed at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
  • Title: Not more than 20 words.
  • Keywords: Provide 5 keywords encapsulating the essence of the post.
  • Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism above 15% will lead to rejection.
  • Anonymity: Manuscripts must not contain identifiable author details.
  • Co-authorship: Permitted up to two authors.
  • Responsibility: Authors bear sole responsibility for third-party rights violations.
  • Editorial Discretion: The Editorial Board reserves the right to suggest edits, which authors must incorporate within the specified timeframe.

Formatting Guidelines

  • File Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5; footnotes size 10, single spacing
  • Citation: Prefer hyperlinks for references. Endnotes may be used sparingly, following Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
