The RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR) is a bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed journal established in 2014. Indexed on SCC Online, HeinOnline, J-Gate, and Manupatra, RFMLR is ranked among the top 10 most accessed law school journals on SCC Online. The Editorial Board regularly collaborates with leading law firms, academicians, and industry experts, organizing initiatives such as the Demystifying M&A Series, RFMLR Leadership Summit, and RGNUL-SAM Conclave on Banking & Finance.

Scope of Submissions

For Volume XIV Issue I, RFMLR invites contributions on contemporary developments in financial and mercantile laws, including but not limited to:

  • Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Competition Law, Insolvency, Banking & Finance
  • Insurance, Capital Markets, Securities
  • Dispute Resolution, International Trade, Investment Funds
  • Labour & Employment, Taxation, Intellectual Property
  • Real Estate, Technology, Media & Telecommunication
  • White-Collar Crimes

Eligibility

Submissions are invited from legal practitioners, professionals, academicians, and law students.

Categories & Word Limits

  • Articles: 6,000–12,000 words
  • Short Notes: 4,000–6,000 words
  • Case Comments: 3,000–5,000 words
  • Book Reviews: 1,500–3,000 words (Word limits exclusive of footnotes)

Submission Guidelines

  • Language: English only
  • Co-authorship: Maximum two authors
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and plagiarism-free
  • Abstract: Not exceeding 250 words
  • Citation Style: OSCOLA 4th Edition
  • Manuscripts to be submitted in .doc/.docx format via the official Google Form
  • Certificate of Originality & Copyright must accompany submission
  • Double-blind peer review process; preliminary decision within 4 weeks
