This 14‑day programme under March for Women 2.0 explores the intersection of gender justice and economic freedom. It bridges feminist economic theory with lived realities, focusing on systemic challenges faced by women in diverse labour sectors.

  • Feminist economic thought from industrialisation to neoliberal frameworks.
  • Barriers to women’s participation in entrepreneurship, agriculture, informal and digital economies, and unpaid care work.
  • Intersectionality: gender with caste, class, and sexual orientation.
  • Policy approaches: gender budgeting, labour safeguards, rights‑based frameworks.
