About the Faculty of Law:

Established in 2017, the Faculty of Law, PES University was founded under the guidance of Late Dr. M.R. Doreswamy, Hon’ble Founder of PES University, with the vision of building a global law school. The faculty continues to be mentored by eminent legal luminaries, including Justice M.N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India.

About the Competition:

The National Moot Court Competition 2026, organized by the Faculty of Law, PES University in collaboration with Fox Mandal Solicitors & Advocates, is a prestigious national-level event.

• Focus Areas: Constitutional Law and Criminal Law
• Format: Simulated courtroom proceedings before experienced judges
• Benefits: Enhances legal research, oral advocacy skills, teamwork, and professional growth

Eligibility:

• Open to law students enrolled in a full-time three-year LL.B. program or five-year integrated LL.B. (Hons.) program from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Limited to 32 teams on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration:

Important Dates:

• 1st February 2026 – Last Date of Registration
• 3rd February 2026 – Last Date to Seek Clarifications
• 8th February 2026 – Release of Clarifications
• 21st February 2026 – Last Date for Submission of Soft Copy of Memorial
• 27th February 2026 – Inaugural Ceremony, Submission of Hard Copy of Memorials & Preliminary Rounds
• 28th February 2026 – Researchers Test, Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals
• 1st March 2026 – Grand Finale & Valedictory Ceremony

Registration Fee:

• ₹5,000 per team (without accommodation)
• ₹8,000 per team (with accommodation)
