Jus Novum – AU Nationwide Law Fest, 2026:

The Apex School of Law Moot Court Society is delighted to announce the inaugural edition of Jus Novum – AU Nationwide Law Fest, 2026, a premier national legal festival designed to cultivate advanced advocacy skills, strengthen constitutional literacy, and encourage innovative approaches to dispute resolution and legal scholarship.

This festival adopts a hybrid format, combining the accessibility of online preliminary rounds with the immersive experience of offline finals:

• Online Rounds: 21st–23rd August 2026
• Offline Rounds: 11th–13th September 2026
• Venue: Apex University, Sitapura Campus, Jaipur

Academic Vision:

The Fest seeks to provide a holistic platform for law students to engage with diverse dimensions of legal practice and scholarship. By integrating competitions in mediation, arbitration, client counseling, judgment writing, debate, and constitutional literacy, alongside creative formats such as short film making, poster design, and writing contests, the event bridges doctrinal knowledge with practical skill development.

Students will be challenged to demonstrate precision in research, clarity in drafting, and effectiveness in oral advocacy, while also exploring creative and interdisciplinary modes of legal expression. The Fest thus embodies the spirit of academic excellence, innovation, and experiential learning.

Fest Highlights:

• Competitions: Mediation, Arbitration, Client Counseling, Debate, Judgment Writing, Article & Creative Writing, Short Film Making, Poster Making, Constitutional Quiz, and Essay Writing.
• Public Engagement: On 12th September 2026, the campus will open to the public, offering food stalls, book exhibitions, games, jamming sessions, and dedicated cultural spaces.
• Gala Night: A celebratory evening on 12th September 2026 featuring music, ramp walk, open mic, and DJ sessions to foster networking and community spirit.
• Prize Pool: A total of ₹1.5 lakh will be awarded across categories, recognizing excellence in advocacy, creativity, and scholarship.

Academic Significance:

Jus Novum is envisioned not merely as a competition but as a scholarly conclave that nurtures critical thinking, collaborative learning, and professional readiness. It provides law students with an opportunity to test their skills against peers nationwide, while simultaneously engaging with pressing constitutional and legal questions in a dynamic environment.
