About the School of Law:

About the Dublin University Law Journal (DULJ):

The DULJ is a double‑blind peer‑reviewed journal, published by Clarus Press on behalf of Trinity College Dublin School of Law. It provides a forum for scholarly reflection on:

• Irish law
• Developments across the common law world
• European and international law
• Legal theory

The journal welcomes contributions from a wide range of scholarly and methodological perspectives, including doctrinal, theoretical, comparative, and critical approaches.

Submission Categories:

• Articles and Review Articles
  • Maximum: 10,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Abstract: 150 words
• Recent Developments Notes (Cases, Legislation, etc.)
  • Maximum: 5,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Abstract: 100 words

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions must:

• Conform to OSCOLA Ireland citation style.
• Remove all references that might identify the author(s).
• Be accompanied by a statement confirming:
  • The article is not under review elsewhere.
  • Submission is exclusive to the DULJ.
• Include author(s) details, affiliations, and acknowledgements.
• Provide ethical approval details (if applicable).

Important Dates:

• Deadline for Issue 2 (2026): 14 August 2026
• Submissions reviewed on a rolling basis.
