Call for Submissions: LSE Law Review – Main Journal

The LSE Law Review, one of the most prestigious student-run law journals, is now accepting submissions for its upcoming Summer Issue (2026). This is an excellent opportunity for students, academics, and practitioners to publish high-quality scholarship in a peer-reviewed platform.

About the Journal

The LSE Law Review is known for its rigorous double-blind review process and commitment to publishing cutting-edge legal scholarship. It welcomes contributions from all levels of legal study and practice, ensuring a diverse and inclusive academic dialogue.

Types of Submissions

  1. Research Articles
    • Length: 4,000–20,000 words
    • Areas: UK law, EU law, International law, or Foreign law (with comparative analysis to UK/EU/International law)
    • Peer-reviewed
  2. Case Notes
    • Length: 1,000–4,000 words
    • Focus: Academic analysis of a case in UK, EU, International, or Foreign law (with comparative analysis)
    • Peer-reviewed
  3. Letters to the Editor
    • Length: Up to 2,000 words
    • Content: Comments on current legal developments, responses to previously published articles, or highlighting important legal issues
    • Peer-reviewed

Deadlines

  • Encouraged Submission Date: 18 August 2026 (for assured consideration in the Summer Issue)
  • Final Submission Deadline: 20 September 2026

Author Guidelines

  • Submissions must follow OSCOLA citation style.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (PDFs will be returned).
  • Abstract (max 250 words) required for all submissions.
  • Word limits exclude footnotes.
  • All manuscripts must comply with the publisher’s guidelines on the use of AI tools.
  • Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right of first publication under a Creative Commons Attribution License.
