Call for Harvard Arbitration Blog by Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association, Harvard Law School.
Harvard Law School is the oldest continuously operating law school in the United States and is home to the largest academic law library in the world. Harvard Law School combines genuine excellence and wonderful diversity on a scale that is unmatched anywhere. No law school has done more to shape law or legal education. The unique strength of our community is that it brings together, from around the world, so many exceptionally talented people of different backgrounds, lived experiences, interests, ambitions, approaches, methodologies, and perspectives.
HIALSA provides a community within Harvard Law School for all students interested in international arbitration. It aims to promote the study of arbitration at HLS, to offer a forum for students to discuss emerging topics in arbitration, and to create connections between students and arbitration practitioners.
The Harvard Arbitration Blog (HAB) was set up by HIALSA in 2024 as a forum to publish timely and insightful short contributions on commercial and investment arbitration. Harvard’s Arbitration Blog welcomes contributions from students, practitioners, and academics worldwide. If you’re interested in sharing your perspective on current developments, emerging topics, or critical reflections in arbitration, this is the place to do it.

HAB aims to attract publications from experienced and young authors committed to academic excellence alike. All blog posts submitted are carefully edited by the HIALSA Publications Team.
HAB is looking for thought-provoking insights into seminal issues centering on arbitration. We especially welcome contributions that go beyond case summaries to provide critical perspectives, thematic reflections, or forward-looking analysis of trends and developments. While all submissions must be well researched and drafted, they are not expected to provide a conclusive at length-analysis of the subject.
