EKLAVYA 2.0 – Ph.D. Colloquium 2026:

Dates: 8–9 August 2026
Venue: National Law University Delhi

Introduction:

Doctoral research marks the formative stage of a scholar’s intellectual journey. It is here that concepts are sharpened, commitments clarified, and arguments tested against rigorous academic scrutiny. As the brochure emphasizes, “doctoral work is most effectively developed through processes of critical review and constructive scholarly feedback, enabling research to be rigorously challenged, sharpened and advanced through interdisciplinary engagement.”

In recognition of this, National Law University Delhi (NLUD) presents Eklavya 2.0 – Ph.D. Colloquium 2026, a multidisciplinary forum designed to foster critical dialogue, peer learning, and mentorship among doctoral scholars in law and allied social sciences.

Objectives of the Colloquium:

  • To provide doctoral scholars with a platform to present and refine their research.
  • To situate research within broader interdisciplinary frameworks.
  • To encourage peer-to-peer learning and mentorship.
  • To facilitate structured feedback from expert panels.
  • To identify promising scholars for Research Affiliation with NLUD, ensuring sustained institutional support.

History of the Eklavya Programme:

  • Eklavya 1.0 (2023): Launched to engage legal professionals across diverse practice areas.
  • Eklavya 2.0 (2025): Expanded to early career scholars, fostering interdisciplinary research and writing workshops.
