The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced the 38th National All‑India Inter‑University Moot Court Competition 2026, hosted by The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati. Scheduled from 29th to 31st January 2026, this prestigious event is a golden opportunity for law students to showcase their advocacy skills, sharpen their legal reasoning, and compete at the highest level.

Details of the Competition:

• Organizer: Bar Council of India & BCI Trust – PEARL FIRST
• Host: The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati
• Dates: 29th – 31st January 2026
• Eligibility: Students pursuing LL.B. degree courses whether 3 yr or 5 yr course.
• Team Composition:
  • 2 Mooters (Speakers)
  • 1 Researcher

This year’s competition offers national recognition and generous rewards:

• Winner University: ₹2,00,000 + Trophy
• 1st Runner‑Up: ₹1,00,000 + Trophy
• 2nd Runner‑Up: ₹50,000 + Trophy
• Best Speaker: ₹10,000 + Gold Medal
• Second Best Speaker: ₹7,500
• Best Memorial: ₹10,000
• Second Best Memorial: ₹7,500
• Scholarships: ₹1,000 per month for one year to top performers
