About the Firm:

PP & Associates is a litigation-driven law practice with expertise across diverse areas including service and constitutional law, consumer disputes, civil and criminal litigation, labour and industrial matters, arbitration, family law, and company-related cases. The firm operates actively in courts across Odisha and collaborates with partner chambers nationwide.

The practice is led by Advocate Pravat Kumar Panda, who brings over three decades of litigation experience. He currently serves as Additional Standing Counsel at the Odisha High Court and has previously held significant roles such as Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education Department, Government Advocate before the State Education Tribunal, and empanelled counsel for organizations including OFDC Ltd., Ruchi Foodline, EPF Organization, Railways, and leading banks. His extensive career spans constitutional, service, civil, banking, consumer, labour, and contractual disputes.

Internship Details:

Positions Available: 2 interns
Duration: January 2026 (full month)
Mode: Offline, in-person
Location: Cuttack, Odisha

This internship offers hands-on exposure to litigation practice under the guidance of an experienced counsel, providing valuable insights into court procedure and chamber work.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Interns will be actively involved in:

Attending court proceedings
Preparing case briefs and notes
Assisting in drafting and proofreading legal documents
Conducting legal research
Supporting chamber activities such as email verification, case diary updates, and routine tasks

Working Hours:

Morning Chamber Work: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Court Visits: From 10:00 AM onwards (subject to workload)
Evening Chamber Work: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Lunch and snacks will be provided during the day.

Eligibility:

Students in 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme
Students in 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. programme
Strong legal research and drafting skills are essential
Prior exposure to litigation will be an advantage
Interns must bring their own laptop; accommodation and travel expenses are not covered
Professional discipline and punctuality are expected
