About Pro Bono Club, NLUO:
The Pro Bono Club at NLUO, Cuttack was established in March 2022 under the Department of Justice initiative, with nine Pro Bono Associates (PBAs) as its founding student members. Since its inception, the Club has been dedicated to nurturing a culture of pro bono service within the legal fraternity. Our mission is to enhance access to justice by connecting law students, practicing advocates, and civil society organizations. We strive to instill social responsibility in young legal minds, empowering them to serve communities through legal assistance, awareness initiatives, and support for alternative dispute resolution.
Through these efforts, the Pro Bono Club seeks to bridge the gap between law and society, ensuring that quality legal services reach those who need them most—while inspiring the next generation of lawyers to view service as a cornerstone of the profession.
