About the Journal:

The Amity Law Review (ALR) [ISSN: 2249‑2232] is a double‑blind peer‑reviewed/refereed journal published annually by Amity Law School since 2000. Over the years, it has been guided by eminent personalities in the field of law through its advisory editorial board.

ALR is strictly restricted to legal themes and publishes research papers, articles, case comments, and book reviews. It has consistently engaged with national and international contemporary legal debates, making it a credible platform for scholarly contributions.

Previously listed as UGC Approved Journal No. 41080, ALR continues to uphold academic excellence and rigorous standards in legal publishing.


About the Call for Papers:

ALR invites submissions for Volume 22 (2026) across all areas of law, including:

  • Civil Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Corporate Law
  • Arbitration
  • Cyber Law
  • Intellectual Property Law
  • And other allied legal disciplines

Submissions may include research papers, research articles, case comments, and book reviews.


Eligibility:

Contributions are invited from:

  • Academicians
  • Legal Professionals
  • Jurists

Submission Guidelines:

  • Co‑authorship: Limited to two authors.
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, outlining the central theme(s).
  • Keywords: Up to 5 keywords.
  • Word Limits:
    • Research Papers: 5000–7000 words (including footnotes)
    • Notes/Case Comments: 3000–5000 words
    • Book Reviews: 1500–2000 words
    • Longer submissions may be accepted at the Editors’ discretion.

Formatting Guidelines:

  • Language: English (British spelling and punctuation).
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12‑point (main text); 10‑point (footnotes).
  • Headings:
    • First heading: 12pt, Bold, Centre
    • Second heading: 12pt, Bold, Left aligned
    • Third heading: 12pt, Italics, Centre
  • Spacing: 1.5 (main text); 1.0 (footnotes).
  • Indentation: 0.5 on both sides.
  • References: Footnotes only (no endnotes).
  • Cover Page: Author details (name, contact, affiliation) must appear only on the cover page to ensure anonymity.

Copyright Policy:

Authors must warrant originality and non‑infringement. Copyright of published articles shall vest with Amity Law School, though the publisher shall not be liable for infringement claims.
