Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition | Dexon Global Centre for Legal Studies, Policy and Research | Online Mode | 31st July- 2nd Aug 2026
Intellectual property law today defines the contours of innovation, creativity, and commerce. From artificial intelligence and digital content to pharmaceutical patents and traditional knowledge, IP disputes shape the modern knowledge economy. Against this backdrop, the Dexon Global Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition (DIMC 2026) offers law students a rigorous platform to engage with contemporary IP challenges through competitive mooting.
Scheduled to be held online from 31 July to 2 August 2026, the competition simulates real‑world IP litigation, requiring participants to research deeply, construct persuasive arguments, and present them before panels comprising judges from the legal profession, judiciary, and academia.
The Dexon Global Centre for Legal Studies, Policy and Research serves as the academic and intellectual wing of Dexon Global LLP. It is envisioned as a hub for legal scholarship, policy innovation, and interdisciplinary research. The Centre emphasizes emerging areas such as intellectual property, technology law, international trade, dispute resolution, sustainability, and governance.
Through conferences, moot court competitions, faculty development programmes, and policy dialogues, the Centre seeks to bridge the gap between academia and real‑world policy challenges, nurturing the next generation of legal professionals and thought leaders.
The Dexon Global IP Moot Court Competition 2026 is more than a contest; it is an academic exercise designed to foster comparative and practice‑ready understanding of IP law. By engaging with both Indian statutes and international frameworks such as TRIPS and WIPO treaties, participants will gain a holistic perspective on intellectual property disputes. The competition promises not only academic recognition but also professional exposure through internships and publication opportunities.
