Theme:

International Trade Law forms the backbone of the global economic system, governing the rules that regulate cross-border trade. It constitutes a sophisticated legal framework that balances economic integration with state sovereignty, dispute resolution with diplomacy, and national interests with global cooperation. In a rapidly evolving commercial landscape marked by technological advancement and shifting trade alliances, International Trade Law continues to shape how nations interact, negotiate, and compete on the world stage. This theme has been chosen in recognition of the profound transformation currently underway within the global trading order. With reforms in the World Trade Organization’s dispute settlement system and the expansion of regional trade agreements, the structure of international commerce is being recalibrated. By focusing on International Trade Law, the Summit seeks to encourage meaningful dialogue on how legal frameworks must adapt to contemporary challenges and redefine the future of global economic governance.
