In the spirit of World Food Day, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is launching the inaugural FAO International Law Day. This event highlights FAO’s contribution to the development of international law, emphasizing the role of legal innovation in ensuring food security and sustainable nourishment for future generations.

• 2026 FAO Law Lecture Delivered by H.E. Santiago Oñate Laborde, a distinguished diplomat and legal expert.
