  • The Dialogue: A leading public policy think tank focusing on technology regulation, fintech, AI, and digital competition, bridging innovation and regulation.

About the Symposium:

Scheduled for 9 May 2026, the symposium explores the evolving fintech ecosystem, where financial activity is increasingly mediated through digital infrastructures. India’s India Stack (Aadhaar, UPI, Account Aggregator) has expanded access but also raised concerns around privacy, algorithmic governance, and systemic risks. The event will critically examine the balance between financial inclusion and regulatory oversight in light of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the proposed Digital Competition Bill.

Call for Abstracts & Paper Presentation:

  • Phase 1: Abstract submission (max 500 words) → shortlist of 30 authors/teams.
  • Phase 2: Full paper (6000–8000 words) & presentation (20 min + 10 min discussion).
  • Evaluation by experts from academia, regulators, and law firms.
  • Selected papers published in an ISBN‑bearing edited volume.
  • A Knowledge Report will capture key insights.
  • Outstanding participants may be considered for internship opportunities.

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 27 April 2026
  • Acceptance Notification: 28 April 2026
  • Working Paper Submission: 6 May 2026
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 5 July 2026
  • Symposium Date: 9 May 2026

Fees & Registration:

  • Paper Submission: ₹2,000 (single author), ₹3,000 (co‑authored).
  • Delegate Registration: ₹1,000 (mandatory for all participants).
  • Non‑shortlisted paper applicants may attend as delegates without extra fee.

Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: ₹10,000
  • 2nd Prize: ₹7,000
  • 3rd Prize: ₹5,000

Submission Guidelines:

  • Working Paper: 2000–3500 words
  • Full Paper: 6000–8000 words
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing; APA 7 citation style.
  • Originality: ≤10% similarity; ≤20% AI‑generated content (must disclose).
  • Blind review process; max two authors per paper.
