1st NLIU National Symposium on Securities Law & Capital Markets, 2026:
The Centre for Financial Markets and Regulatory Systems (CFMRS) at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal is proud to announce the 1st NLIU National Symposium on Securities Law & Capital Markets, scheduled for 4th–5th April 2026 at the J.S. Verma Convention Centre and Academic Blocks, NLIU Bhopal.
About NLIU:
Established under the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1997, NLIU is recognized by the UGC and the Bar Council of India. Since 1998, it has been a pioneer in delivering modern, multi-disciplinary legal education, equipping students with skills to excel in the evolving legal profession.
About CFMRS:
CFMRS is a student-run initiative fostering research and dialogue on financial governance and market regulation. It provides a platform for students, professionals, and regulators to engage in critical discussions on transparency, stability, and investor confidence.
Symposium Objectives:
The symposium aims to:
- Promote advanced research on Indian securities law.
- Critically examine recent SEBI developments.
- Analyse judicial trends from SAT and constitutional courts.
- Encourage interdisciplinary engagement between law, finance, and governance.
- Provide a national forum for presenting original research.
- Facilitate academia–industry–regulator interaction.

- Theme IV: Secondary Markets, Market Infrastructure & Enforcement

- Long Articles: 5000–8000 words
- Short Articles: 3000–5000 words
- Case Notes & Legislative Comments: 1500–2500 words
Guidelines:
- Abstract ≤ 350 words
- OSCOLA or Bluebook citation style
- Blind review process
- Plagiarism ≤ 15%
Registration:
- Single Author: ₹3,500
- Co-Authors (max 2): ₹6,000
