4 th DME National Moot Court and Policy Drafting Competition, (9-11th April 2021) [Virtual Edition]

Delhi Metropolitan Education (Aff. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi) announces its 4th DME National Moot Court Competition and Policy Drafting Competition 2021 (Virtual Edition) to be held from 9th to 11th April 2021.

The Delhi Metropolitan Education Moot Court Society feels elated to propose the first-ever solution-oriented Moot Court Competition that will have active participation of students from all the backgrounds as Policy Drafters. The moot will not only sharpen the advocacy skills of the law students but will provide a wholesome solution-oriented learning approach in the way of Policy Drafting, the Moot Proposition is drafted on the issue concerning the current challenges to IPR, Cyber Law and Data Privacy.

In the Moot Court Competition, Law students from all across India will be participating in a virtual courtroom simulation battling their legal arguments in front of highly qualified Judges. The Moot problem is attached herewith.

The Policy Drafting Competition will be conducted separately but based on the Moot Problem itself. Both events will not be overlapping with each other in terms of conduction and scoring.

Eligibility

· Students pursuing 3 years or 5 years of LL.B in India are eligible for participation.

· Students pursuing any course in a recognized college/University in the territorial boundaries of India are eligible to participate.
