About the Internship:

DS Advocates invites applications for a physical internship at its Chennai office. This program provides hands-on exposure to real legal work, including research, drafting, and observation of court and tribunal proceedings under the mentorship of experienced practitioners. Interns may be assigned to matters involving Income Tax, GST, or Corporate & Commercial disputes depending on their role and capabilities.

Eligibility:

• 4th or 5th year students of a 5-year integrated law programme
• Final-year students of a 3-year LL.B. programme
• Strong research and writing skills
• Interest in litigation, taxation, corporate advisory, and regulatory practice

Internship Details:

• Location: Chennai (No virtual internships)
• Number of Interns: 2 per month
• Duration: 4–6 weeks
• Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000
• Fee: None

Exposure & Learning:

Selected interns will gain:

• Practical involvement in casework and legal research
• Opportunities to observe court and tribunal proceedings
• Training in drafting, research methodology, and litigation practice
