About

Mapping ADR is an initiative by the Centre of Alternative Dispute Resolution at Jindal Global Law School which aims to provide a platform for research and discussion in the field of ADR along with tracing the new developments in Indian and foreign jurisdictions.

We are currently inviting papers, articles or interviews on CDR- Consensual Dispute Resolution only.

Consensual Dispute Resolution refers to voluntary settlement processes where parties seek to resolve their differences through negotiation.

In this particular form of ADR, the parties are in a mutually agreeable position to fulfill their needs whilst satisfying the obligation of the opposing party. This may not be equally benefiting for both parties but one which benefits both to different extents.

Submission Guidelines

The submission can be made by legal practitioners, academicians as well as students. We prefer posts not exceeding 1500 words and also analytical pieces to descriptive ones.

Wherever any case law, statute or other resources are being referred to, it should be duly cited as endnotes in any uniform style of citation. A bibliography for the references should be created.

Submission must be sent in .doc or .docx format to mapping-adr@jgu.edu.in

The subject of the e-mail while making the submission shall be ‘CDR- submission’.

Authors must include their brief biographical information in not more than two lines.

Each submission will be reviewed by one or more editors of the Blog, who retain absolute discretion in determining whether to accept a post and, if accepted, whether the post requires revision. Once the article is published on the site, it cannot be published anywhere else.

Important Date

The last date to submit the articles is 21^st June 2019.

The publications will happen by 30^th June 2019.
