Legal Internship – JSW Motors (Mumbai)

JSW Motors Limited, the automotive arm of the JSW Group, invites applications for a Legal Internship at its corporate office in Bandra Kurla Complex, Kalina, Mumbai. This internship offers law students an opportunity to gain practical exposure to corporate legal practice in the fast-evolving electric vehicle (EV) industry.

I. Internship Details

• Duration: 2 months
• Mode: Full-time, on-site
• Location: Mumbai (BKC, Kalina)
• Stipend: Unpaid
• Start Date: Within 1 month
• Application Deadline: 15th August 2026
• Openings: 1 (highly competitive, 100+ applicants)

II. Key Responsibilities

Selected interns will assist the legal team in:

• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting commercial contracts, agreements, and internal policies
• Conducting legal research on corporate, labour, environmental, and automotive regulations
• Supporting compliance processes, regulatory filings, and internal audits
• Assisting in due diligence and risk assessment for ongoing projects
• Preparing case briefs, legal summaries, and maintaining documentation

III. Candidate Profile

• Pursuing LL.B. (3rd or 4th year) or LL.M. from a reputed institution
• Strong skills in legal research, drafting, and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Prior internship experience in corporate legal teams or law firms (preferred)

IV. Learning Outcomes

• Exposure to real-time legal and compliance challenges in the automotive sector
• Mentorship from senior legal professionals within the JSW Group
• Internship Certificate and Letter of Recommendation upon completion
• Potential consideration for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance
