What Is The Propose of This Examination ?

The office of The Controller General of Patents, Design & Trademark announces that for Patent Agent Examination 2023 and the Trade Marks Agent Exam 2023 & that online portal for Patent/ Trade Agent Examination 2023 has ben enabled for the registration to appoint Patent and Trademark agent under Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria?

a) For Patent Agent Examination (As per Section 126 of the Patent Act,1970), CLICK HERE

b) For Trade Mark Agent Examination (As per Rule 144 of the Trade Marks Rules, 2017), CLICK HERE

What Is The Submission Deadline For Application?

Till 28th February 2023 (5:30 PM) Tuesday

What Are The Guidelines For Submitting Application?

Candidates can apply for Patent Agent Examination 2023 and the Trade Marks Agent Exam 2023
online only. There is NO other mode of application.
