About the Conference
The 4th CNLU–CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws builds upon the success of its previous editions and aims to engage with contemporary developments in India’s securities and capital markets framework.
- Format: Two‑phase
- Phase I: Submission of abstracts of original, unpublished research papers.
- Phase II: Top 32 participants present papers before expert panels at CNLU campus on September 3, 2026.
The conference will assess research aptitude, analytical ability, and legal reasoning in securities and capital markets law.

- Derivatives regulation and market innovation
- Dematerialisation and digital securities ecosystems
- Listing regulation and corporate disclosures

- Judicial oversight and regulatory powers
- Geopolitical risks and resilience of capital markets
- REITs, InvITs, and financialisation of real assets
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract: ≤ 350 words (submitted with manuscript).
- Full paper: 3000–5000 words (excluding footnotes).
- Citation style: Bluebook (21st Edition).
- Co‑authorship: Maximum two authors.
- Generative AI use: Permissible up to 20%.
- Similarity index: ≤ 20% (≤ 10% after filters).
- Manuscript must be original, unpublished, and in English.
- Registration fee payment mandatory.
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12 (main text), 14 (headings), 10 (footnotes).
- Line spacing: 1.5 (main text), 1 (footnotes).
- Alignment: Justified; headings centre‑aligned.
