About Faculty of Law, GLS University:
Established in 2015, the Faculty of Law at GLS University has quickly become a preferred destination for aspiring lawyers. With experienced faculty, practicing advocates, and a pedagogy that blends theory with practice, the school emphasizes:
- Case studies, classroom discussions, and interactive presentations
- Moot courts, drafting exercises, and pro bono learning
- Clinical papers and dissertation writing in the final year

About the Competition:
The Virtual Client Counselling Competition 2026 is designed to help law students develop essential professional skills in interviewing, advising, and problem‑solving.
- Focus on preventive law and counselling functions
- Opportunity for cultural and academic exchange among students, teachers, and practitioners
- 30 teams selected on a first‑come, first‑serve basis
Registration Details:
- Deadline: February 7, 2026 (11:59 pm)
- Link: Click here to register
- Fee: ₹500 per team (via QR code payment)
- Submit payment receipt and transaction ID with the form
Team Composition:
- Each team = 2 participants (Counsel 1 & Counsel 2)
- Only one team per institution allowed
- First registered team from an institution will be considered
Competition Format:
The event simulates a law office consultation. Teams will interview and counsel a client based on a given problem.
Rounds:
- Preliminary Round – Recorded video submission (10 minutes)
- Quarter‑Finals – Live virtual counselling (30 minutes)
- Semi‑Finals – Live virtual counselling (35 minutes)
- Finals – Live virtual counselling (40 minutes)
Key Guidelines:
- Formal attire required (black pants, white shirt)
- English is the official language
- No disclosure of identity; teams will be identified by codes
- Misconduct (e.g., foul language, identity disclosure, attempts to access problems early) will lead to disqualification

- Constitutional Law
- Contract Law
- Company Law
- Arbitration Law
- Property Law
- Health Law
- Other relevant codified/uncodified laws
