Jointly organized by the School of Legal Studies and the Advanced Centre for Research and Innovation, this international conference will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping forensic science and criminal investigations, while addressing the legal, ethical, and societal challenges that accompany technological transformation.

AI is revolutionizing forensic science—from DNA profiling and digital forensics to crime-scene reconstruction and behavioural analysis. However, challenges such as algorithmic bias, privacy intrusions, accountability gaps, and ethical dilemmas demand critical evaluation.
This conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, investigators, technologists, and policymakers to debate the promise and perils of AI-driven forensic tools, fostering collaboration and policy recommendations.
All abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings (ISBN). Selected papers will be published in a Scopus Indexed Book Series (additional charges applicable).
