Themes and Sub‑Themes

Contributors are invited to submit papers on contemporary issues in sports jurisprudence. Suggested tracks include:

Track 1: Integrity, Ethics and Human Rights

  • Anti‑doping frameworks (WADA/NADA compliance)
  • Athlete rights, player unions, and contract integrity
  • Combating corruption, match‑fixing, and manipulation

Track 2: Mega Sporting Events and ESG Sustainability

  • ESG challenges in Olympics and World Cups
  • Legal liabilities of host nations
  • Sustainability and legacy planning

Track 3: Media, Commercialisation and Sports Governance

  • Broadcasting rights, digital streaming, and piracy laws
  • Intellectual property rights, merchandising, and athlete NIL rights
  • Role of sports agents and compliance in commercial sport

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: 250–300 words, stating research question, methodology, and key arguments (include 3–5 keywords).
  • Full Paper: 4,000–6,000 words (including footnotes).
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 spacing; footnotes per Bluebook 21st Edition.
  • Review: Blind peer‑review; selected papers will receive plenary presentation slots.
