The Centre for Research in Labour and Employment Laws (CRLEL), NLU Jodhpur, in collaboration with the National Labour Law Association (NLLA), New Delhi, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) India, Indian Industrial Relations Association (IIRA), New Delhi, and Centre for Transparency and Governance (CTAG), NLU Delhi, is organising an International Symposium on Labour & Employment Laws.

6. Universality of Social Protection: Freebies vs. Legal Rights
7. CSR, Welfare, and Collective Bargaining – Role of Trade Unions

9. Regulatory Bodies and Law Enforcement
10. Law Avoidance – Inflated Designations and Wage Stealing

Submission categories:

  1. Long Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
  2. Essays: 3,000–5,000 words
  3. Case Notes / Legislative Comments: 1,500–2,500 words

Submission Guidelines – Symposium 2025:

1. Abstract Submission:

  • Length: 300–500 words
  • Keywords: 3–5
  • Format: Word file titled “Abstract (Name of the Article)”
  • Submission: Via email
  • Review: Blind peer review

2. Cover Letter:

  • File: Separate Word document titled “Cover Letter”
  • Content: Author’s name, qualifications, institutional affiliation, designation, and full correspondence address

3. Manuscript Formatting:

  • Page Setup: A4, 1-inch margins, British English
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, justified
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing
  • Citation Style: Harvard Bluebook, 21st Edition
  • File Type: Only .doc (Word) accepted

4. Full Paper Requirements:

  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
  • Layout: Single-column, justified margins
  • Review: Peer review for final selection
  • Publication: Selected papers published in an Edited Book (ISBN)

5. Copyright & Editorial Policy:

  • Authors retain joint copyright with Publisher
  • Editorial Board may edit submissions without altering substance
  • Prior permission required for republication
