About Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat:

Established in 2019 by the State Government of Haryana through State Legislature Act No. 15, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU) stands as a premier institution dedicated to justice and constitutional values. Strategically located near Delhi, the University offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programmes, combining academic rigor with ethical and social awareness.

The University hosts eleven specialized research centres, three dedicated cells, and a Legal Aid Clinic, fostering holistic legal education and community engagement. With MoUs signed with institutions such as V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, and the University of Waikato (New Zealand), DBRANLU promotes collaboration and global exposure.

About the Journal:

The DBRANLU Law Review Journal (Students’ Edition) is a student‑run, double‑blind peer‑reviewed journal launched in 2026 to promote legal scholarship, research, and intellectual discourse among law students and emerging academics across India.

The journal provides a credible platform for student voices in legal academia, encouraging original contributions across diverse fields such as constitutional law, corporate law, technology law, environmental law, human rights, and international law. It also emphasizes interdisciplinary perspectives.

Beyond publication, the journal involves students in the editorial process, helping them develop skills in academic writing, critical analysis, and editorial judgment.

Call for Papers – Submission Guidelines:

  • Deadline: April 20, 2026
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Abstract (≤ 300 words) with 3–5 keywords required.
  • Footnotes must follow OSCOLA (4th Edition) referencing style.
  • Similarity score must be below 10% (UGC guideline); AI content ≤ 5% (for language enhancement only).
  • Format: Microsoft Word + PDF.
  • Max contributors: 2 (Author + Co‑Author).
  • Plagiarism report (Turnitin) mandatory.

Editorial Process:

  • Tier 1 – Preliminary Review: Compliance check by Assistant & Junior Editors.
  • Tier 2 – Substantive Review: Assessment of originality, rigor, and relevance.
  • Tier 3 – Final Review: Peer review and editorial board approval.
  • Authors retain rights to publish modified versions elsewhere with due attribution.
