The National Law Institute University, Bhopal was established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and providing most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. It is the second law school established under the National Law School system. Since its inception in 1997, NLIU has earned a reputation as a premier institution providing quality legal education and engaging in research in cutting-edge areas of law. In its journey, the university has carved out a niche for itself in terms of academic excellence and the successful placement of its students. Today, NLIU stands as one of the most reputed legal institutions in India and is consistently rated as one of the best law universities in the country.
The NLIU-CRIL International Law Blog is one of the leading blogs dealing with issues of international policy, relations, and law. It is run by the student community of the NLIU, Bhopal, and is aimed at securing collaboration between students, research scholars, and professionals interested in international law, from all across the world. The blog seeks to encourage academic excellence and facilitate informed discourse on contemporary issues in international law and policy. It aims to provide a platform to question, and revisit settled positions in international law.
The blog publishes any contemporary and pertinent development in the field of international law and policy. The scope of this blog includes, but is not limited to, fields such as Public International Law, Human Rights Law, Private International Law, International Trade Law, International Commercial Laws, International Criminal Law, and International Investment Laws. The authors are encouraged to write on, or take an inter-disciplinary approach to, any field(s) or law(s) related to international law and policy.
