About MNLU, Mumbai:

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai), established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014, is the newest addition to India’s National Law Schools, created to advance legal education through specialized instruction, training, and research. Beginning operations in 2015 from its temporary campus at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar, the university set out with a vision to foster excellence in advocacy, legal services, law reforms, and justice education. With strong partnerships across academia, judiciary, and industry, MNLU Mumbai offers programs such as the five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and one-year LL.M. in Legal Pedagogy & Research, aiming to cultivate responsible, globally aware legal professionals while tapping into the rich legal heritage of Mumbai, India’s financial capital.

About CTRCR:

The Centre for Training & Research in Commercial Regulations serves as a hub for debate, training, and research in corporate and commercial law, fostering collaboration among academicians, professionals, regulators, judges, and students. Its mission is to advance awareness of contemporary business challenges in India and globally through research on regulatory issues, specialized training programs, diploma and online courses, publications including journals and newsletters, and collaborative initiatives with national and international institutions, thereby promoting excellence in legal scholarship and practice in commercial regulations.

About Forum for Commercial and Corporate Laws:

The Forum provides a platform for students, academicians, and professionals to discuss key issues in corporate law, covering areas such as antitrust, arbitration, company law, consumer protection, ESG, insolvency, banking, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and taxation.

Call for FCCL Blogs:

The Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations (CTRCR) at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, is excited to announce the inauguration of the CTRCR Forum on Commercial & Corporate Laws (FCCL). Submissions are encouraged from students and professionals within the legal and financial sectors.

Submission Guidelines:

  • A maximum of two authors per submission is allowed.
  • Simultaneous submission shall lead to a ban from publication on FCCL for a period of 6months.
  • Manuscripts should be between 1500-2000 words (excluding citations).
  • The body text must be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 with 1.5 line spacing.
  • All citations must be hyperlinked.
  • Each submission will undergo plagiarism checks and a double-blind peer review.
  • Works will be published on a rolling basis.
  • Expected timeline for the review of the Blog: 14 Days from the date of submission.
  • Already published blogs and blogs sent for consideration to other places will result in blacklisting of the author(s)
