Programme Rationale
Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, data analytics, and allied technologies are transforming legal practice and pedagogy. Generative AI now drafts pleadings, summarises judgments, predicts outcomes, and assists in student assessments. Law teachers face a dual responsibility:
- Teaching about technologies – addressing doctrinal, ethical, and regulatory challenges.
- Teaching with technologies – integrating AI into pedagogy, assessment, and supervision.
This FDP provides structured, hands-on capacity building to meet these obligations, combining conceptual grounding with practical demonstrations and participant-led presentations.
