About the Book

Madhyastha, Centre of Excellence in ADR at the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Chandigarh University, invites original and unpublished research chapters for the international edited volume ADR and Emerging Global Trends.

This book will critically explore how Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is adapting to globalization, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cross-border commerce, and sector-specific disputes, while also addressing comparative and policy perspectives.

• Technology and ADR: Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), AI in ADR
• International & Cross-Border Dispute Resolution: Commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, mediation, ADR in trade and digital commerce
• Sector-Specific Disputes: Employment, healthcare, family mediation, sports arbitration
• Policy & Comparative Perspectives: Indigenous dispute resolution, institutional vs. ad hoc arbitration, legislative developments, future directions

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be assessed on:

• Originality and contribution to knowledge
• Sound methodology and argumentation

Manuscript Requirements

• Chapter Length: 5,000–7,000 words
• Abstract: 200–300 words
• Keywords: 5–6
• Language: English
• Format: Times New Roman, ILI Footnote Style
• Reports Required: Turnitin similarity report (≤10%) and AI disclosure report
• Authorship: Maximum 3 authors per chapter; student manuscripts only accepted in co-authorship with faculty

Submission Deadlines

• Full Chapter Submission (with Abstract): September 10, 2026
• Acceptance/Revisions Notification: September 22, 2026
• Revised Chapter Submission: October 2, 2026
• Publication Date: December 31, 2026

Chapter Processing Charges

• Indian Authors: Students ₹250 | Academicians ₹400
• International Authors: Students US $10 | Academicians US $20 (Charges apply only for accepted chapters after peer review.)
