GNLU Journal of Law, Development and Politics (GJLDP) – Volume 16

About the Journal:

The GNLU Journal of Law, Development and Politics (GJLDP) is a peer‑reviewed, biannual, interdisciplinary publication of Gujarat National Law University (GNLU). Administered jointly by faculty and students, the journal provides a platform for scholarly engagement on issues at the intersection of law, development, and politics.

Published by Eastern Book Company (EBC) and indexed on HeinOnline, the journal carries ISSN No. 0975‑0193. Upholding rigorous academic standards, all submissions undergo a blind peer‑review process to ensure quality, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Main Theme: Law, Development and Politics
  • Sub‑Themes: Interdisciplinary aspects linking law, development, and political studies.

Who Can Submit?

The journal welcomes contributions from:

  • Academicians and professors of law and allied disciplines
  • Advocates, judges, and bureaucrats
  • Legal luminaries, policy experts, and newspaper columnists
  • Research scholars and students

Submission Categories:

  • Research Articles
  • Original Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Book Reviews

All submissions must align with the journal’s scope and thematic focus.


Deadline:

  • Last Date for Submission: 30 July 2026

Submission Guidelines:

Authors are required to follow these instructions:

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format via email to gjldp@gnlu.ac.in.
  2. Use Garamond font, size 12, line spacing 1.5, with justified text and margins (1.5” left, 1.0” on all sides).
  3. Include a covering letter with personal details (name, designation, institution, postal address, phone number, email ID).
  4. Attach the Submission Application and Waiver Form (available on the official GNLU website).
  5. Each manuscript must contain:
    • Title page (without author identification)
    • Research area and suggested keywords (up to 5)
    • Abstract (200–250 words)
    • References in Chicago Manual of Style (Author‑Date system, 17th Edition)
    • Endnotes (if required)
    • Tables and figures supplied separately with captions and sources
  6. Authors must obtain necessary permissions for reproducing copyrighted material.

Editorial Policy:

  • Submissions are subject to blind review.
  • Manuscripts containing author identification will be rejected.
  • Reviewers remain anonymous, and confidentiality of reports is strictly maintained.
