Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, was established in 2005 by an Act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and commenced operations in January 2006.

  • Programs Offered: Ph.D. in Law, Social Sciences, and Humanities; One-Year LL.M.; Five-Year Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.).

About DPIIT & the SPRIHA Scheme:

The Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, launched the SPRIHA Scheme in 2016 to establish IPR Chairs in select universities.

  • Objective: Strengthen IP Chairs in higher education.
  • Focus Areas: Quality teaching, research, and curriculum development in Intellectual Property Law.

In today’s digital economy, advertising and branding are undergoing a profound transformation.

  • Emerging Trends: AI-driven marketing, influencer culture, immersive digital platforms.
  • Challenges: Deepfakes, synthetic media, AI-generated endorsements, and misappropriation of identity.
  • Legal Concerns: Copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, consumer protection, and unfair competition.

The misuse of AI in advertising—particularly deepfakes—poses serious threats to reputation, consumer trust, and individual autonomy.

Conference Aim:

  • Language: English
  • Abstract: 250–300 words with cover letter (author profile, email, contact, designation, institution, address).
  • Word Limit: 6000–8000 words (including citations).
  • Formatting:
    • Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 spacing
    • Headings: Font Size 14, Bold, Center-aligned
    • Sub-headings: Font Size 13, Italicized
    • Footnotes: Font Size 10, OSCOLA (4th edition) citation style
  • File Format: .doc
  • Co-authorship: Maximum 2 authors (both must register).
  • Similarity Index: As per UGC Guidelines.
  • Declaration: Originality & copyright compliance mandatory.
