About the Course:

This Certificate Course is a specialized course that explores the dynamic relationship between copyright law, technological innovation, and creative expression in the digital era. Rapid advancements in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, social media platforms, digital content distribution systems, and open-source models have transformed the manner in which creative works are produced, disseminated, and consumed, giving rise to novel legal and policy challenges.

The course provides participants with an understanding of contemporary copyright issues through expert-led sessions covering the fundamentals of copyright, AI and copyright, personality rights and copyright, copyright versus copyleft, and copyright challenges in the social media ecosystem.

The programme is ideal for students, academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, intellectual property professionals, content creators, entrepreneurs, media professionals, and technology enthusiasts. Upon completion, participants will gain valuable insights into emerging developments in copyright law and the legal challenges arising at the intersection of creativity, technology, and innovation.

Important Instructions About the Course:

• This is a 5 days online certificate course conducted via Zoom meetings with each session of 1 hour 30 minutes per day.
• The timings of the sessions will be 3:00 PM-4:30 PM
• Zoom Joining Link will be shared prior to the start of the course. Participants are requested to join the course 15 mins in advance.
• Filling of the Feedback form and MCQ based test shared on the last day of the course is mandatory to receive the e-certificate.

Course Fee:

• For MNLU Mumbai Students: Rs. 500/- (Valid Student ID is required)
• For Students other than MNLU Mumbai: Rs. 1000/- (Valid Student ID is required)
• For Others: Rs. 1500/-
