Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, invites submissions for the CNLU Panchayati Raj Law Journal, a peer-reviewed academic platform dedicated to advancing scholarship on local governance and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). This initiative is spearheaded by the Chair Professor, Panchayati Raj, which is committed to fostering rigorous academic inquiry into decentralisation, grassroots democracy, and institutional strengthening.


About CNLU:

Established on 15th July 2006 under the Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006 (Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006), CNLU has emerged as a centre of excellence in legal education and research. Recognised under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, the University actively promotes:

Submission Guidelines:

  • Original, unpublished manuscripts (6,000–8,000 words).
  • Abstract: 300–400 words.
  • Co-authorship allowed (up to 2 authors).
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt (main text), 10 pt (footnotes), Bluebook 21st Edition citation.
  • Similarity index below 10%.
  • AI-generated content prohibited for arguments, data, or citations. Permissible only for language refinement, outlining, summarisation, and translation.
  • All submissions undergo peer review.

Awards:

  • Best Paper: ₹7,500 + Internship + Certificate of Merit
  • 2nd Best Paper: ₹5,000 + Internship + Certificate of Merit
  • 3rd Best Paper (2 papers): ₹2,500 each + Internship + Certificate of Merit
