The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab announces the Eighth Edition of the Sports & Entertainment Law Mediation Competition (SEMC), one of India’s premier student competitions in mediation and ADR practice.
Established under the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006, RGNUL is a national centre of excellence in legal education, fostering innovation and global perspectives in law.
The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) promotes research and student engagement in Arbitration, Negotiation, Mediation, and Conciliation. Its mission is to strengthen ADR mechanisms in India and provide a platform for budding professionals to develop dispute resolution skills.
Since 2019, SEMC has been a flagship event in mediation practice, focusing on Sports and Entertainment Law. The competition brings together top law schools across India, offering participants the chance to refine soft skills, negotiation strategies, and commercial awareness.
