About the Competition:

The Fifth Edition of the IILM Moot Court Competition will be held in February 2026. This prestigious event reflects the University’s commitment to nurturing advocacy excellence and fostering discourse among aspiring legal professionals.

Theme:

Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights
Key issues include:

  • Accountability in AI-driven interactions
  • Protection of children and vulnerable users
  • Personality & publicity rights in the digital sphere
  • Cross-border enforcement of intellectual property
  • Constitutional responsibilities in regulating emerging technologies

Eligibility:

  • Open to students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes at recognized institutions.
  • Each institution may send up to two teams.
  • Teams: ordinarily 3 members (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, Researcher).
  • Two-member teams permitted with prior approval.
