About the Organizers: The Faculty of Law, Oriental University, Indore, has been at the forefront of promoting legal education through innovative academic initiatives, competitions, and training programs. The 3rd Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition is one of our flagship events that aims to provide law students with a platform to hone their advocacy, research, and drafting skills.
Eligibility: The competition is open to all students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. programs from recognized institutions/universities in India.
Location: The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format:
Researcher Test (Online): 14th October 2025
Preliminary Rounds (Online): 15th October 2025
Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final Rounds (On-Campus): 30th–31st October 2025 at Oriental University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
