Eligibility Criteria and Rules for the Competition

• The competition is open to the students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in any university/college across the globe.
• Only original Essays that have not been published or have not been accepted for publication should be mailed to essay.lexhindustan@outlook.com 
• Plagiarism of any form shall result in disqualification.
• The Essay must be written in English.
• The Essay must be type-written
  • Heading : Font size 16 , Bold
  • Sub heading : Font Size 14, Bold
  • Main Content : 12 font size
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Line Spacing : 1.5 line space.
  • Margin : Left and Right : 1.25”  Top and Bottom : 1”
  • Citation style : Any Uniform Style of Citation.
• The Essay should not be more than 5000 words. (Word limit is exclusive of Footnotes)
• The Essay has to be submitted in MS-Word format.
• There has to be no End Notes.
• Co-authorship is permitted up to 2 authors.

Submission Procedure

All the essays has to be mailed to essay.lexhindustan@outlook.com on or before 11:59PM of 2^nd October 2016.

The Subject line has to be ‘LexHindustan Essay Writing Competition: Essay Submission’.

 REGISTRATION FEES

• 250 INR per author.

Declaration of results

Results of the competition will be declared on 10^th October, 2016.

Rewards

• 1^st Prize : Rs. 12,500/- and Certificate of Appreciation
• 2^nd Prize : Rs. 7500/- and Certificate of Appreciation
• 3^rd Prize: Rs.3500/- and Certificate of Appreciation
• 3  consolation prizes of Rs. 500/- Each
