About the Opportunity:

The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal invites applications for the positions of Research Assistant and Interns under the IPR Chair, established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. These positions are contractual and come with consolidated monthly remuneration as per the prevailing SPRIHA norms.

Research Assistant Openings:

• Number of Positions: 01
• Preferable Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualifications & Pay:
  • Graduate: ₹47,000/- per month
  • Postgraduate/LL.M.: ₹57,000/- per month
  • Ph.D. holders: ₹67,000/- per month
• Bond Requirement: Selected candidates must serve for at least one year on contractual terms.

Internship Opportunity:

• Number of Positions: 04 (for a period of three months in a financial year)
• Eligibility:
  • Students of LL.B. (3‑year or 5‑year course) – specific years as applicable.
  • Postgraduate students pursuing or having completed LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law.
  • Ph.D. scholars engaged in research in Intellectual Property Law.
• Stipend: ₹10,000/- per month.

Duration:

The engagement period will depend on project requirements and satisfactory performance.

Selection Process:

• Walk‑In Interview for Research Assistant: 04 May 2026 (Monday), 10:00 a.m. onwards, Conference Room, Samadhan Bhawan, NLIU.
• Walk‑In Interview for Interns: 06 May 2026 (Wednesday), 10:00 a.m. onwards, Conference Room, Samadhan Bhawan, NLIU.

• Hard copy of the application form (available on NLIU website).
• Self‑attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates.
