The Centre for Child and the Law (CCL), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore is currently looking for competent and eligible candidates to fill the one Full Time Projects Facilitator post and join the team in Bangalore.

About the Centre for Child and the Law (CCL), NLSIU:

The Centre for Child and the Law (CCL) was established on 1st April 1996, as a specialized Research Centre of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. The Centre mission is to institutionalize a child rights culture in the society. This was with a view to further the vision of NLSIU to marry legal expertise with the social sciences, to impact legal education and contribute to law, policy and practice on child rights. The Centre undertakes Research and Direct Field Action on a range of child rights issues. The core thrust areas currently include Juvenile Justice, Universalisation of Quality Equitable School Education, Right to Food, Child Protection, Child Sexual abuse, Child Labour and Child Marriage. It uses many approaches and engages in direct field intervention, participatory research, and teaching, training as well as advocacy and networking in order to impact Policy, Law and Practice on issues concerning children. CCL NLSIU encourages a diverse work environment.

Details of the Positions

1. Projects Facilitator (One Full time position)

Projects Facilitator is a key position at CCL responsible for facilitating timely completion of planned activities, and ensuring efficient fiscal and programme management and reporting on various projects.

Qualifications:

Essential

 Master’s degree in Social Work/ Education/Development/Law or similar fields.

Experience:

Essential

At least 8 – 10 years of experience in direct management, fund raising and monitoring of diverse projects in a professional social or research organization.

 Experience in designing and implementation of monitoring and reporting system for both program and finance related to proposed actions and approved budgets

 Engaging directly with donors, with a good understanding of donor priorities, funding sourcing methods, etc.

Remuneration:

Maximum amount payable will be Rs. 60,000/-(Consolidated with no benefits) per month, in accordance with qualifications and experience.

Duration:

The position is till December 2017, a 3 month Probationary period will be applicable with no guarantee of automatic extension
