About DNLU

Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, established in 2018 under the Madhya Pradesh Dharmashastra National Law University Act, is committed to advancing value‑based legal education. The University emphasizes research, scholarship, and practical legal training through mooting, competitions, and academic publications. About CSTIC

Founded in 2024, the Centre for Studies in Tribal and Indigenous Communities (CSTIC) focuses on tribal history, culture, and welfare. It conducts field studies, publishes a peer‑reviewed journal, and provides policy recommendations on healthcare, education, and entitlements. CSTIC also works to empower tribal youth and leaders through educational programs and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

About TRDI

Established in 1954, the Tribal Research and Development Institute (TRDI) conducts anthropological and cultural research on tribal communities of Madhya Pradesh. It organizes workshops, seminars, and training programs for officials and public representatives, focusing on constitutional and protective measures for tribals. TRDI also manages the Shri Badal Bhoi State Tribal Museum at Chhindwara.

Conference Objectives

The National Conference aims to explore the interplay between tribal customs, constitutional safeguards, and statutory frameworks. It provides a platform for academicians, researchers, and policymakers to deliberate on legal reforms, cultural preservation, and inclusive governance, fostering dialogue for protecting indigenous identity and advancing social justice.

Accepted papers will be published in a special issue of The Vantage: A Journal of Law and Social Sciences.

  • Abstract: 300–500 words
  • Full Paper: As per guidelines on Manuscript Guidelines
  • Only original and unpublished work will be considered.

  • Acceptance Notification: 18th July, 2026
  • Last Date of Registration: 20th July, 2026
  • Full Paper Submission: 17th August, 2026

Fee Structure:

  • Students: ₹500
  • Scholars: ₹700
  • Academicians: ₹1,000
  • Co‑authors: Half of applicable fee
  • Accommodation: Provided by the University for selected paper presenters
