About the conference

VIPS IPR Students’ Conference in Intellectual Property Right in Information Age: A Global Response 2019 which will be held on 31st August 2019, Friday.

The motive of this Students’ Conference is to enrich the law students about the legal knowledge on various IPR issues that are prevalent in India and to do an in-depth analysis for the same.

Eligibility

All the students from all the fields are eligible to submit the paper. There is no age limit.

Call for Papers

The delegates have to submit their Conference Paper on any one of the theme or sub-themes is given below: Intellectual Property Right in Information Age: Global Response

• IPR Jurisprudence: A way forward
• IPR, Trade and Human Rights
• Upcoming challenges and its response in IPR
• GMO’s v. Traditional knowledge
• IPR Legislations and Implementation tools
• Prospect of IPR in the virtual world
• Any other related topic

Submission Guidelines

All the submissions must be emailed at vipsinternationalmoot[at]vips.edu along with a cover page with the title of the Research Paper and Name of the delegate.

Each submission should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words.

Interested teams are required to register by sending the following information latest by 20th August 2019, Saturday through e-mail with the subject “Registration- 1st VIPS-IPR Moot” at vipsinternationalmoot@vips.edu: Name of the delegate/author and their Institution/University.

Fee Details

Once the e-mail has been sent, then the candidates will be provided with the payment details on their e-mail ID.

A delegate/author, who is only participating in the Conference, has to submit registration amount of Rs. 2000/.

For co-delegates/co-authors the registration amount shall be Rs. 4000/. More than two delegates/authors are not allowed to participate.

The teams for registration are required to send a scanned copy of the Registration Form (PDF Format Only) duly signed and sealed by the Head of the Institution or Department along with the details of online payment through NEFT/IMPS, etc by 22nd 2019, Saturday on vipsinternationalmoot[at]vips.edu.

Deadlines

The teams are required to send the hard copies of the registration form along with payment by way of Online Bank Transaction via post or by hand to the Administrators latest by 25th July 2019, Wednesday on the following correspondence:
