About the Conference

The 4th CNLU-CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws builds upon the success of previous editions and focuses on contemporary developments in India’s securities and capital markets framework.

  • Format: Two-phase structure
    • Phase I: Submission of original and unpublished research papers.
    • Phase II: Top 8 shortlisted participants will present papers before expert panels at CNLU, Patna.
  • Final Presentations: 3rd September 2026 (offline, on campus).
  • Evaluation: Based on research aptitude, analytical ability, and legal reasoning.
  • Recognition: Prizes and certificates will be awarded.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: Max 350 words (to be included in manuscript).
  • Full Paper: 3000–5000 words (excluding footnotes).
  • Citation Style: Bluebook (21st Edition).
  • Co-authorship: Maximum of two authors.
  • Language: English only.
  • Similarity Index: Not above 10%.
  • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
  • Registration fee payment is mandatory.

  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
  • Headings/Subheadings: Size 14, Center aligned
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text), 1.0 (footnotes)
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10
